Azaire™ VCC Server
Service Control Node – Voice Call Continuity
IMS-Compliant VoIP Services for FMC Networks
The Azaire™ SCN-VCC 5000 enables a truly converged voice service that provides dual mode subscribers with a uniform service experience and uninterrupted voice services across hybrid networks (e.g. WLAN and the existing 2.5G/3G mobile networks). This service drives the adoption of hybrid access networks in order to promote tariff bundles and operator initiatives for coverage enhancements and data speed improvements.
SCN-VCC includes the Voice Call Continuity (VCC) Application and CSCF functionality, as specified by 3GPP Specifications TS 23.206 & TS 24.206 for delivering voice services in hybrid network deployments. The SCN-VCC is a key component of the Azaire IP-CNP solution and is based on the uniquely designed MobiFlex software and provides optimal solutions to all of the demanding requirements of Fixed Mobile Convergence - carrier class security, seamless mobility and delivering a consistent look and feel of carrier branded rich mobile broadband services.
The IP-CNP solution is fully compatible with IMS infrastructure and enables secure and seamless service delivery with session continuity across hybrid networks for both voice and data services. Delivering voice services coupled with data services like Push Email, Audio/Video Downloads/Uploads make the mobile device and service even more valuable. Operators using the IP-CNP can deploy such innovative services and differentiate with operators with bundles just based on existing service offerings and cobbled together to offer one bill and discounts.

The IP-CNP can also deliver seamless voice and data services for hybrid access in pre-IMS networks:
